Over twenty years ago OCS, Inc. was able to revolutionize the way the oil industry looked at oil well failures and blowouts by introducing it's patented Ultrasonic method for determining the effects of cyclic fatigue and hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide embrittlement on drilling equipment. This technology was the first available and, to this day, is the only method of nondestructive field evaluation of equipment for these problems which are precursor to almost all oil well failures and subsequent blowouts.
Through the many years of working with the oil industry world wide in a vast array of well control situations, OCS, Inc. has become a recognized and highly qualified leader in the area of innovative well control planning, analyzing and well control itself.
As the search for energy continues and the companies that conduct this search have become more competitive within a streamlined and highly regulated industry, we at OCS, Inc. recognize our need to change within this industry to enhance the services that we provide our customers.
OCS, Inc. will continue to provide it's core services such as; oil well blowout, well control, workover, and capping. We will provide Quality Programs, Project Management and Environmental Management as well as Consulting.
What is new is we have streamlined within the industry to better serve our clients. We will focus our efforts on the team concept whereby we provide services to the energy companies to train their team personnel in the proper design and operations of their exploration projects to minimize failures and the impact of the failure on the environment, thus reducing the higher over all cost of operations.
